Description

A project to recreate, in bronze, examples of a dozen extinct species from the Mascarene Islands of the Indian Ocean was started by a number of experts, including directors of Britain's leading sculpture foundry, Pangolin Editions.

Because one of the project's aims was to sell all but one each of the bronzes to raise funds for the Mauritian Wildlife Fund, a website was commissioned to support and promote the project as well to provide information on the islands themselves.

Hearfield Research created a series of prototype interfaces for review by the client and a very simple, plain design was chosen, using framesets and with very simple navigation. This design was developed and delivered on time and within budget during the summer of 2002. Unfortunately, we were just too busy to be able to provide an updated site.
